Our heavenly Father, the whole world is experiencing many kinds of unrest and confusion. Clouds of despair and despair are everywhere. Natural disasters or terrorist attacks, personal disappointments have destroyed our peace. Lord, we come to your presence this evening. We pray for a world surrounded by unrest and anxiety and for our inner peace. Lord, you have said, "My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, do I give to you, but my eternal peace I give to you." Trusting in your promises, we come to your presence this evening, praying for your peace.

Lord, more than the turmoil and confusion of the world, we choose to pray to calm our anger when we are losing our peace of mind because of the dissatisfaction and anger within us. - We pray for our inner peace. Lord, calm our hearts, turn our sorrow into understanding. Calm our minds, change our despair into gentle hope. Cover our souls, transform our anger, our rage into forgiveness. Cover our lives in your love, Turn our anger into mercy.

Lord, we choose to listen to songs of joy and let our hearts breathe peace. We choose to wait for your Holy Spirit to awaken our restless souls. We know that you can keep us safe in the turmoil and confusion we are facing.
