I just want to welcome all newcomers to Fire of God! I am blessed that
you are here and I know that God will bless each of you and use you as
a blessing to many others also!
Just want you to think about rubber bands for just a minuet. A rubber
band is made for just one purpose, to be stretched so it can hold things
together. Now if a rubber band is not stretched then it's not
fulfilling it's purpose at all is it?
UMMM HUMMM!!
Well as Christians we are uch like rubber bands. We were put on this
eath to be doers of God's Word. sometimes to accomplish this we must
allow God to stretch us beyone our comfort zones so we can be effective!
THis is one of the hardest things for us to do. But if we want to be
effective in God's kingdome then we must do it.
He wants to stretch us and shape us into His image and into His
likeness!
He wants us to be willing to be stretched to let go of the past and
press toward the future!
And He wants to breath new life into us! Remember last week I said that
if God's breath brought us life then we need to be INHALING WHAT GOD
IS EXHALING! He wants to exhale life and life more abundantly and we
need to inhale deeply and recieve that abndant life from our Father!
So allow your heavenly Father to stretch you and shape you so that
you will bring glory to the Father!
Love & prayers
God Bless

He is coming back for His people. All people as "One Body" in Christ.
Not a people separated by differences, but a people unified in Christ. Not a people separated by prejudice, but a people unified in faith. Not a people separated by bitterness, but a people unified in Love.
The Bible tells us that the Creator God created us ALL in His image. This means we should stop living by our own emotions and start operating in the Love of God. Instead of stumbling over differences which separate us, we need to look to the One that brings inclusion which is Jesus Christ. For it is He that separates the "wheat from the weeds" at harvest. He is the only one that can bring us together where we have grown so far apart.
As a nation, we need to tear down the walls that stand between us, and replace them with the hand of fellowship. We must replace the hurt with forgiveness and mend the wounds with unity.
"Oh Great Spirit God, we ask that you give us direction on the path of life. We ask that you lead us to where YOU want us to go. We ask that you heal our hearts from ALL bitterness, from past hurts, and place in our hearts forgiveness. Great Spirit God, bring us together in the unity of your Son Jesus who is OUR healer...Amen"
One Door To Heaven
The truly good news is that this same loving and just God gives everyone on earth a second chance to escape punishment. God sent His only Son, Jesus, to earth more than 2,000 years ago. That life Jesus lived on earth—33 years—allowed Him to experience the same pain and loneliness you have felt. The ultimate purpose for Jesus’ life on earth, however, was so that He could give it up.
By dying on the cross, Jesus took upon Himself the punishment necessary to pardon your sins. Even though Jesus was without sin and perfect like His Father, He became a man by living on earth.
Jesus—both God and man—lived a perfect life, dying willingly on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins, was raised from the dead, and now lives in heaven. An innocent man took the blame for our sinfulness. This act of God is described in John 3:16-17 like this: "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him."
Jesus’ death on the cross erased our sins and removed the one barrier separating us from a relationship with Him. His sacrifice of life makes it possible for us to be saved from the punishment of our own sinfulness. Romans 5:8 states: "God demonstrates His own love toward us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
This is how a loving and just God dealt with the problem of our sin. He provided the one and only way to heaven, through belief and trust in God's Son, Jesus, as our Lord and Savior. In John 14:6, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." You must receive Him in order to live in heaven after you die. There is no exception.
Thanks for your good thoughts and I pray that you are blessed in everyway and wandered what happened yesterday on the groups as I didnt get anything on until late last night
