I am a spirit filled Christian mom of two and i am 5.3,129 lbs and brown hair with gray in it and blue/green eyes. Love praise and worship and soaking and gospel music. Love Jesus and he is first place in my life. I watch wheel of fortune and deal and no deal and would love one day to be on wheel of fortune.
1 Th 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. Romans 12:8a, Acts 15:32, Heb. 10:25, Heb.3:13.
Native American Circle of Friends
The Native Legend says that at the end of the evening, friends would gather around a bonfire and share their hearts and speak of the good qualitites of each other. They reflected upon times shared, as the embers faded, their friendship was said to be sealed anew, bringing them closer together.
A tool for the Christian toolbelt for encouragement and edifying others.
When I am asked to speak at groups: be it either churches, schools, scouts, bible studies, retirement communities...I always enjoy closing with the friendship circle.
This usurally works best when groups are divided into 10-20 people in each. I have everyone form a circle, join hands, and explain to them the friendship circle. Sometimes I will light a candle in the middle of our circle to represent Christs presense and He is the center of our friendships, the head of the body of Christ.
I then have each one take their turn and look at the person to their left and say to them: ...you are special and a good friend to me because...I am blessed to have you as my friend because...you mean a lot to me because..." and give their reason[s].
Once we are finished going around the circle...I then ask for someone to please close in prayer and to lift all of these blessings and
praises... because they all belong to Christ and to His glory. When finsished the candle then is blown out. The responses during and after this have been amazing and awesome! The next time you are in a group or even at home around the table for supper...you might just suggest or offer this as a closing. Being able to witness
the responses from others receiving kind words has been for me just as much of a blessing as hearing the kind words from ones heart. In Christ, Brown Eagle
Today's Prayer
Dear God, Society is so curious about "close encounters of a third kind" and aliens from outer space and all the unexplainable occurrences that happen from time to time. While all that may be interesting, I desire encounters of a heavenly kind. Lord, just give me more of You. Fill me with Your presence and your peace. Refresh my spirit as I bask in Your presence. Replenish my soul with Your Word. Lift me up and keep me going forward for You. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.

"Be sure you know the condition of your flocks, give careful attention to your herd" (Prov 27:23).
Janice was a high level executive who required excellence and exceptional performance from those under her leadership. She was the general manager of a credit card unit when five of her 2,000 employees were found to have deliberately hidden $24 million in losses that she was accountable for. Her "no failure" policy brought great pressure upon her employees and she failed to recognize how this leadership style affected others. It discouraged employees from bringing problems to her. She was an intense perfectionist whom others saw as intimidating and confrontational. She was extremely opinionated. Her subordinates were fearful of reporting any bad news so they lied about it.
Do you feel like what you accomplish is never quite good enough? Do projects have to be just right? Do you feel you must give more than 100 percent on everything you do or else you will be mediocre or even a failure?
Perfectionism refers to a set of self-defeating thoughts and behaviors aimed at reaching excessively high unrealistic goals. Perfectionism is often mistakenly seen in our society as desirable or even necessary for success. However, studies show that perfectionist attitudes actually interfere with success. The desire to be perfect can both rob you of a sense of personal satisfaction and cause you and others to fail to achieve as much as people who have more realistic strivings. Janice lost her job over this situation but was later offered another chance to salvage one of the company's smaller businesses. She realized that she needed to be much more understanding of people around her. She learned from her experience and succeeded in her next assignment with the company. The solution to becoming a transparent person is to get feedback from those around us. This is the only way we will avoid perfectionism. We must ask for the feedback and be willing to respond to input.
What would others say about your management style? Do you foster dialogue and encourage others to bring issues to your attention? Are you willing to work with your team to solve problems together?
FATHER WE THANK YOU FOR FAVOR FOR MY SISTER IN HER NEEDS AND WANTS. LORD YOUR WORD SAY ASK!! .WHEN MY SISTER "Ask.....Seek ....Knock....LET THE RIGHT DOOR OPEN FOR HER IN JESUS NAME, AMEN ^j^.
