Hello, I became a Minister soon be 2 years, My call is helping the hurting and street ministry. I am very active in my community, and work as a Private Investigator. I am widowed, mother, and grandmother. My desire is to walk in God's perfect will for my life, and I enjoy my intimate relationship I have with God.
Is your spiritual height limited? Not seeing much growth lately? Are things weighing you down?
Proverbs 12:18...Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. Vices Gal. 5:19-21 Virtues Gal. 5:22, 23
When another makes a negative comment, judgement, statement, opionion... so many times we either believe it or take it to heart. Unkind words spoken hurt, weigh us down, wound the soul, and leave us in pain with years of echos. Psm. 64:3
If we were able to look at it through Spiritual eyes....weigh it on the scale of Christs love and Gal. 5:22 the fruit of the Spirit...(including even discipline and correction)...it should carry much weight. If it was said to us in anger, jelousy, pride...it should carry little weight... but for many of us its weight is opposite.
In prayer and with the Lords guidance and direction...we need to pull the feathers (hurtful words) that weigh us down and discard them. We need to replace them with the Lords words of truth and His words that bring life.
Lord, my prayer lifted is that You mend our wings and carry each of us to new Spiritual heights in You. Ex. 19:4 Psm. 18:33 Isa. 61:1-3 Matt. 11:28,29
Soar my friend Soar. In Christ and to His glory, Brown Eagle
1 Th 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. Romans 12:8a, Acts 15:32, Heb. 10:25, Heb.3:13.
Native American Circle of Friends
The Native Legend says that at the end of the evening, friends would gather around a bonfire and share their hearts and speak of the good qualitites of each other. They reflected upon times shared, as the embers faded, their friendship was said to be sealed anew, bringing them closer together.
A tool for the Christian toolbelt for encouragement and edifying others.
When I am asked to speak at groups: be it either churches, schools, scouts, bible studies, retirement communities...I always enjoy closing with the friendship circle.
This usurally works best when groups are divided into 10-20 people in each. I have everyone form a circle, join hands, and explain to them the friendship circle. Sometimes I will light a candle in the middle of our circle to represent Christs presense and He is the center of our friendships, the head of the body of Christ.
I then have each one take their turn and look at the person to their left and say to them: ...you are special and a good friend to me because...I am blessed to have you as my friend because...you mean a lot to me because..." and give their reason[s].
Once we are finished going around the circle...I then ask for someone to please close in prayer and to lift all of these blessings and
praises... because they all belong to Christ and to His glory. When finsished the candle then is blown out. The responses during and after this have been amazing and awesome! The next time you are in a group or even at home around the table for supper...you might just suggest or offer this as a closing. Being able to witness
the responses from others receiving kind words has been for me just as much of a blessing as hearing the kind words from ones heart. In Christ, Brown Eagle
I agree my sister. I use to be like that however I was harder on myself than others. Compassion and patience can go a long way with interacting with others.
Tiger,
You Are Honored Above Angels?
Now let us join with hearts and tongues,
And emulate the angels' songs;
Yea, sinners may address their King
In songs that angels cannot sing.
They praise the Lamb who once was slain;
But we can add a higher strain;
Not only say, "He suffered thus,
"But that he suffered all for us."
When angels by transgression fell,
Justice consignee them all to hell;
But Mercy formed a wondrous plan,
To save and honor fallen man.
Jesus, who passed the angels by,
Assumed our flesh to bleed and die;
And still he makes it his abode;
As man he fills the throne of God.
Our next of kin, our Brother now,
Is he to whom the angels bow;
They join with us to praise his name,
But we the nearest interest claim.
But, ah! how faint our praises rise!
Sure, 'Ti's the wonder of the skies,
That we, who share his richest love,
So cold and unconcerned should prove.
Oh, glorious hour, it comes with speed!
When we, from sin and darkness freed,
Shall see the God who died for man,
And praise him more than angels can.
Poverty,poverty,poverty
Don't touch my friend forever
Don't even follow her
You old friend called poverty
she may from your dirty castle
But now she doesn't want your proximity
Leave her alone to move
A bright paradise calls her to rule
It is her turn to win and grow
Poverty, poverty poverty
How many times have i called you
Listen to me now
Don't even touch the shadow of my friend
You have become her carpet to walk on
Her palace with wealth is waiting for her
Poverty, poverty poverty
How many times have I called you
Now you get lost over the life of my friend
In Jesus Name I command you, Amen.
What is my reasons why I hate poverty?
Is an baleful curse.
A more terrible curse than the plaque.
Poverty hits innocent lives.
Tears peoples relationships.
Brings persons into a black hole.
Poverty is an elixir of depression.
Brings on fearfulness.
Like a malicious dragon.
Poverty is ones worst adversary.
Hard to prevent and slay.
Poverty is not a Calling
Poverty is a distraction,
Living day to day,
Paycheck to paycheck,
Questioning over the next meal,
Can’t grasp the growling in the stomach,
Shelter becomes just that
But barely.
My prayer at this hour
Is that you and your generation
Have nothing yo do with poverty in Jesus Name.
Poverty is thing bad
Poverty is reason of sad
It's symbol's unlucky mom
It's symbol's unlucky dad
Poverty create a terror
It create an error
It is resistance of study
it create problem's ever
I AM BY NO MEANS PASSING JUDGEMENT ON YOU OR ANYONE BY THIS STATEMENT.
RATHER I WISH THAT WE ALL IMPROVE IN AREAS WHERE WE ARE NOT DOING WELL
WITH OUR CALLING BY GOD. IT IS NOT EASY TO BE A CHRISTIAN BY THE STANDARD GOD HAVE SET FOR US.
BUT HE ALSO HAD GIVEN STRENGHT AND GRACE TO ACHIEVE ALL GOOD GOALS THROUGH CHRIST
WE HAVE AT LEAST FIVE KIND OF CHRISTIANS:
1.Active Christians
*Believe salvation comes through Jesus Christ
*Committed churchgoers
*Bible readers
*Accept leadership positions
*Invest in personal faith development through the local church
*Feel obligated to share their faith

*Focus on personal relationship with God and Jesus
*Similar beliefs to Active Christians, but with different actions
*Less involved in church in regard to both attending and serving
*Less commitment to Bible reading and sharing faith
3.Liturgical Christians
*Predominantly Catholic and Lutheran
*Regular churchgoers
*High level of spiritual activity, mostly expressed by serving in church and/or community
