"Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you."
- 1 John 3:13
I heard a story about some fish suppliers who were having problems shipping
codfish from the East Coast. By the time the fish reached the West coast,
they were spoiled. They froze them, but by the time the fish arrived, they
were mushy. They decided to send them alive. But the fish arrived dead so
they tried sending the fish alive again, but with one difference. They
included a catfish in each tank. You see, the catfish is the natural enemy
of the codfish. By the time the codfish arrived, they were alive and well,
because they had spent their trip fleeing the catfish.
This is my point. Maybe God has put a catfish in your tank to keep you alive
and well spiritually. It's called persecution. Maybe there's a person at
work who always has eight hard questions for you every Monday morning
regarding spiritual things. Maybe it is that neighbor who is giving you a
hard time for your faith in Jesus. Maybe it is a spouse or family member who
doesn't believe. You are wondering why this is happening. It is like that
catfish. That person is keeping you on your toes.
Shortly before His crucifixion, Jesus told the disciples,
"If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the
world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you"
(John 15:19).
God will allow persecution in the life of the believer. If you're
experiencing persecution, here are two things to remember:
1.Persecution confirms that you are a child of God.
2.Persecution causes you to cling closer to Jesus.
When you are suffering persecution for your faith, remember that this world
is not your home you're just passing thru!! Your treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue!!
Praise God, The Question is what is my Ministries? Network with God People. By saying a kind word that may lift some one spirit.
Proverb 16:24 says Pleasant words are like a honey cone sweetness to the soul and health to the bone..... Proverb 17:22 says a merry heart does good like medicine............

The Native American Indians in our simplicity, are taught to literally give away all that we have--to relatives, to guests of other tribes or clans, but above all to the poor and the aged, from whom we can hope for no return.
Matthew 6:3... But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret.
When out gardening with my husband...the meanings of Matt. 6:3 kept running through my mind. I understood what the Lord was trying to teach..but the Lord took it a little further with me that day...a deeper insight...(whisper...as Pamela would call it a light bulb moment)...Maybe also our giving should be so automatic...that there is no time, thought, questioning...even b4 our other hand realizes what is being let go of....just do it. Release...give...let go.
Matt. 25:31-37...Then the righteous will answer Him, Lord, "WHEN DID WE SEE" You hungry and feed you, or give You drink when you were thirsty, invite You in as a stranger, clothed You, visit You when You were sick or in prison? Verse 40..The King will reply, I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." Acts 20:35, 2 Cor. 9:7, Proverbs 21:26
Whisper...could "be in secret" also include ones self?
HIS DIVINE POWER HAS GIVEN TO US ALL THINGS THAT PERTAIN TO LIFE AND GODLINESS, THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIM
WHO CALLED US BY GLORY AND VIRTUE.
( 2 PETER 1:3 *NKJV )
"Moments in Life"
1. There are moments in life when you miss someone so much that you just
want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real!
So cherish them while they are with you.
2. When the door of happiness closes, another opens;
but often times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the
one, which has been opened for us.
3. Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that
fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile, because it takes only a
smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find the one that makes your heart
smile.
4. Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want
to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things
you want to do.
5. May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make
you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human and
enough hope to make you happy.
6. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.
7. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past; you can't
go forward in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.
8. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling.
So live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone
around you is crying.
9. Don't count the years-count the memories...........Life is not measured
by the number of breaths we take; but by the moments that take our breath
away!
Are you one who doesn't see within.... spiritual growth?
Php 1:6 being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Going through a new season of growing pains... sometimes it is hard for us to see the growth and change. One can only sense the soils restrictions... limits set by earthly weight and even by ones own self. Breaking through the soil...may be painful at times. The outcome from a new emergence we long to see.
We need to rest in the soil under the Son, because it is God who is watching and waiting for us to bloosom. It is the Lords purposes and plans that are preparing us. We need to "rest" on Php 1:6 that He (not I) who began a good work...(He not I) will carry it on....to completion.
Whisper...friend, soar boldly, being confidant...that in the soil of our confinements and weakness's....The Lord will carry it on...to completion! Ex. 19:4 2 Cor 3:18 In Christ, Brown Eagle
