Growing in Grace

Are you one who doesn't see within.... spiritual growth?

Php 1:6 being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Going through a new season of growing pains... sometimes it is hard for us to see the growth and change. One can only sense the soils restrictions... limits set by earthly weight and even by ones own self. Breaking through the soil...may be painful at times. The outcome from a new emergence we long to see.

We need to rest in the soil under the Son, because it is God who is watching and waiting for us to bloosom. It is the Lords purposes and plans that are preparing us. We need to "rest" on Php 1:6 that He (not I) who began a good work...(He not I) will carry it on....to completion.

Whisper...friend, soar boldly, being confidant...that in the soil of our confinements and weakness's....The Lord will carry it on...to completion! Ex. 19:4 2 Cor 3:18 In Christ, Brown Eagle

I have been through so much
I don’t know who to trust
With my head in my hand I sit alone trying to understand
As I rise to my feet I can see my tear stains on my sheets
I have been through so much

Tears drop from my eyes to the floor
Which way should I go?
Why should I cry?
Does any one care if I die?
Back in the day when I was younger I felt so much pain
As a man I still feel the same
So much pain
What do I have to gain?
Who can take away my pain?
Suddenly a soft voice spoke to me
“My son I am Jesus and I shed my precious blood that you might be free
You need to lean on me
I care for you
In my kingdom I have prepared a home for you
Don’t let the evil one fool you
I die for you and rose on the third day for you
The rest is up to you
What do you chose?
Death or eternal life with me?”
I fell to my knees and whispered these words
Jesus I chose you
Thank you for teaching me the things that I need to do

In the darkness I can hear the beat of my heart
Alone I sit in the dark
Outside I can hear a dog bark at a car
I feel so all alone sitting here in the dark
My tears can’t hide the pain in my heart
I feel so sad
I miss what I had
Every time I close my eyes my heart calls out her name
I am in so much pain
I remember when our lips first met
Vision of her pressed against my chest bring tears to my eyes
Alone in the darkness I sit and cry and wonder why our love had to die

A door opened and I was asked to speak several years ago at a High School in an auditorium of 1,400. Before leaving that morning, I started to pace the floors, arms a flapping (a works of the flesh moment :) ...Lord, who am I fooling that I can do this, Lord, what did I get myself into this time, why do I keep getting myself into these positions and on and on I went for a few minutes. When I finally grew tired and just dropped to my knees...the Lord whispered to me in the quietness...The answer to your problem is within your questions..."I". Peter started to focus on the high waves. He started to sink because he took his eyes off of Christ. Taking our eyes off of Christ, we too are going to sink or backslide. During difficult situations we need to keep our eyes on Christ, rather then our inadequacies, circumstances, situations...whisper....and the "I"'s. In Christ, Brown Eagle
