My Secret Garden
Chapter One
In my Secret Gordon are many secrets of myself I have not let go of. Now I am leaning how to let go of some of them, and maybe with God's help I will be free of them all. You see God has given to me a book to read that I might understand my purpose and why I am on this Earth. I have looked to understand what my purpose was in life. Yet as always I was looking in all the wrong places for the answers. When all I had to do was to open the book that my Father gave me at birth and that was the Bible to read. Not only to read, but ask Him to gave me understanding of what I am reading and how to apply His words in my walk on earth with Him. Also, that I might understand His purpose for me being hear. You see without my Father in my life, my life will be purposeless. Without a purpose my life his been motion without meaning, activity without direction, and events without reason.
Without a purpose in my life, life became trivial, petty, and pointless. Until now I have lived a very pointless life. Things like lying, stealing, using people using myself, not being a good Father to my girls, are good friend to people that cared for me, doing drugs, and many more bad things. You see it was all about Neal and what I wanted, that is why my life became pointless and without purpose. I did not have God in my life. I though I was God almighty myself. But on December 26, 2007 God really showed me that he is the true God and power. He really forgave me of all my sins, and put me back to work. After I had made a mess of my life again, He would not let go of me. And I am very glad of the fact that He loves me so very much, that He keeps on forgiving me for my sins.
In His loving kindness He put me back to work again, after I had made a mess of things as always tiring my self will knowing that I am powerless. He will not let of me and I am thankful for that. What God has done for me, I could never do for myself. I see now that the greatest tragedy is not death, but life without purpose. Knowing my purpose will give meaning to my life. You see God created me to have meaning. And knowing my purpose will only simplify my life more. It will define what I do and don't do. My purpose will become the standard I will use to evaluate which activities are essential and which aren’t. I simply ask is this activity in accord with God's word and not mines.
It will help me concentrate my efforts and energy on what is important .I am learning to become more effective, by being more selective I no longer desire to play trivial pursuit with my life. I also am learning that I know longer have to live a life of quiet desperation. Without a Godly purpose, I will keep changing directions, jobs, relationships, Churches, or other externals-hoping each change will settle the confusion or fill emptiness in my heart.
When I woke up this morning, I saw an Angel standing in front of me looking directly into my eyes; saying what is your morning prayer?
I said, I want my loved ones to be Blessed, and He said to me again; how many days do you want your friends to be Blessed?
I looked at Him. Directly into His eyes, just the way He was looking into mine. I said FOREVER AND EVER, and He said your wish is my COMMAND!
Then I saw Blessings coming down from Heaven in your direction.
It's Better Not To Know Better
Steven Furtick
My youngest son Graham lets me throw him up in the air so high that he almost goes through the ceiling. He loves it. He just turned 1 about a month ago.
His older brother Elijah used to let me do the same thing. He's 3 now, and he doesn't like it so much any more. It scares him. Didn't used to scare him, but my wife Holly says now that he's more aware of his surroundings, being thrown in the air freaks him out. I guess that's understandable.
If He prompted me to speak out for Him, I spoke up. If He urged me to give something to Him, I gave. If He wanted me to give up something for Him, I gave it up.
Then came mortgage payments, adult responsibilities and the like. Now I'm more aware of my surroundings. And it's a little more unnerving to get thrown up in the air.
It didn't frighten me at all when I didn't know any better...and sometimes I think it's better not to know any better. As a child of God, and even more so as a leader, I don't ever want to become so aware of my surroundings that I stop innately trusting God because it's dangerous.
Not that we should stay in a state of perpetual childhood. It's good to grow up, to exercise wisdom, and to analyze the risks.
But when it comes time to jump, never let your awareness of your surroundings be the final factor when deciding how high to go and how much to trust.
As you finish this year strong, find confidence in the strength of the one who caught you the last time, and who is positioned to catch you again.

Loved By the Best

T This poem is very sweet. It will be interesting to see who sends it back. Forward this on and back. Thanks!
If I could catch a rainbow
I would do it just for you
And share with you its beauty
On the days you're feeling blue.
If I could build a mountain
You could call your very own;
A place to find serenity,
A place to be alone.
If I could take your troubles!
I wo uld toss them in the sea,
But all these things I'm finding
Are impossible for me.
I cannot build a mountain
Or catch a rainbow fair,
But let me be what I know best,
A friend who's always there.
This is a Hug Certificate!!
Send One to All Your Friends Who You Think Deserve A Hug
(Which, Hopefully Includes the Person Who Sent It to You).
You
might send it to your enemies as well!
It'll really tic 'em off!
If you receive this back 2 times . You're off to a good start,
Unless you sent it to yourself. That's cheating!
If you receive this back 3 times. You're a good friend.
If you receive this back 4 times
..... You are popular I wanna be just like you.
If you receive this back 5 times or more,
There are angels watching over you....
THANK YOU, IF YOU SEND IT BACK TO ME.

Sometimes our awareness of our surroundings can take the naiveté out of our faith in God. When I first came to Christ, it was like I was letting Him throw me up in the air as high as He could (or would, more like it), and it never crossed my mind that this was dangerous.
It never crossed my mind that He might drop me.
