My name is Matia and I am a devoted wife to an awesome man of God! A mother of five beautiful children and minister at the Church Of The Living God (Temple 218) in Muskegon Michigan.
My bishop is John M Williams Jr.
I have endured many trials in my life, but I can testify that God has protected me and seen me through every one of them. I have many testimonies of how awesome God is. He is a healer, protector and a way maker.
I married in July 2004 to a man that I admired in High School. Years had past and we saw one another a few times and one evening we ran into each other at a local club! We started conversating and before long were in a relationship...8 months later were married. Over the years God began to do some things in both of our lives... We both stopped drinking, made some major changes in our lives and joined the ministry at our church...things were up and down between us over the years and we ended up divorcing...(cheating was never an issue)
During the time that we were divorced, God began to do an even greater work in the both of us seperately...of course I wanted to move on and had no intentions of EVER going back but I continued to pray that Gods will be done in my life. I prayed for God to continue to change him and bless him and to be happy...there were a lot of times that I didn't even want to pray for him, but Gods spirit led me to and I was obedient...
I also allowd God to minister to my spirit and He revealed and lot of things to my that I did not like. I asked God to continue to work on my spirit and to teach me how to please Him.
God sent a man of God to tell me that He was bringing restoration....Me and my then ex-husband began to talk and continue to seek God together and was remarried by our Pastor.
During that time our family had went on a 50 day fast...we were fasting before the divorce, during the divorce and still fasting when we go remarried. A woman of God asked me how many days that we were divorced until the time we had remarried....I never thought about it but when I added from the day we divorced to the day we remarried...it was 40 days!
We had to go through a wilderness experience and the fast we were on was preparing us...God gets all of the Glory!
I have grown so much as a woman of God. I am learning how to walk by faith. My husband has taught me a lot about walking by faith...when everyone was telling him in the church to move on because I didn't want him...he was holding on to the promises of God and in return, we both remained faithful...(no fornication) and because of our obedience to Him and having faith, He brought restoration. I want to encourage everyone to walk in faith..trust God for and in everything. He will do it! whatever ( it) is...
I am no bible scholar or anything like that...I can't quote 100 scriptures...but I love God and I know that when I pray He hears and answers! I would love to connect with other men and women of God. To be ministered to and to minister to. I am a prophetess and I want to perfect the gifts that are in me...
I am excited about the things that God has instore for the saints of God...He is saying that we must have order in His house. We have gone to far away from what the Word says...if we want to receive the blessings, we must be in position. He is not a sloppy god, a make-shift god or one who will compromise. He is calling for Holiness, dedication and obedience! Don't look to Obama to save the United States...God uses many avenues to bless us, but let's not forget the blesser....I pray that everyone receives the full blessings of God...continue to grow in faith, in grace and in love...God bless...Min.
