As a child, I remember playing tug of war. The game would go back and forth, until one side would eventually be pulled over the line.

At times, life can feel like this for an individual. Two teams: on one side you have the Natural verses the other side, the Spiritual. You have the world with many pulling, trying to bring the one who is spiritual over the line to their side. The team could be one of family, employees, neighbors, friends, or even a group of church members. Back and forth one goes closer each round to that line that seperates the two. Whisper...if you want to win this game spiritually, SET DOWN THE ROPE. Psm62:2 Mt16:24

Mt16:24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me." SET DOWN THE ROPE.

Lord, I am learning that not all finish lines are worth crossing over. I am learning that there are certain games that have no winners. The words I will listen to: is not pull, but take up and follow. Precious Lord: and the only finish line that I need to cross over, is the one with You standing there, calling for me. God saved my family last night on the highway. We were coming from Georgia, and it had been raining all the way back, except for short periods when it stopped. I was driving then we stopped and got something to eat and switched seats. About five minutes afterward switching seats, a semi truck came back and splashed a tremondous amount of water under our truck-our truck started hydroplaning and spinning out of control!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My husband couldnt stop it, he was was turning the wheel, and we couldnt stop!!!!! He turned the wheel to the left(he said he remembered from his truck driving classes that if this happens you should steer the car away from the direction your car is trying to go-so he steered left, and we crashed into a guard rail, and STILL didnt stop!!!!!!! Finally the car stopped, and I couldnt stop saying thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!! My girls were screaming and hollering, BUT GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are alive today because of the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!

WAR BROKE OUT IN HEAVEN....AND SATAN WAS CAST TO THE EARTH. --- REVELATION 12:7-9
