yes you are right it started wrong and for that i had to repent and ask God to forgive me cause i knew better. i allowed the devil to come in. now i am looking to the hills from where i help comes from. i am no longer looking to man. thank you for the prayers they are needed. God Bless you.

i was married for 19 years and just suffered a lot of abuse in the marriage. i know God has a plan for me i am just in a place where i don't know if i should go left or to the right. Every time i see this brother in church and know what he has done to two families i just ask God is he going to get away with what he had done. i am trying to hold my head up cause the word of God states that all things work together for the good, so the Lord know what is best for me.

As a child, I remember playing tug of war. The game would go back and forth, until one side would eventually be pulled over the line.

At times, life can feel like this for an individual. Two teams: on one side you have the Natural verses the other side, the Spiritual. You have the world with many pulling, trying to bring the one who is spiritual over the line to their side. The team could be one of family, employees, neighbors, friends, or even a group of church members. Back and forth one goes closer each round to that line that seperates the two. i know because of the call on my life i know i am going to have to stand and wait on the Lord. stay planted like a tree by the river and not waver back and forth. i just want to tell the Lord yes to his will and not mine. so i have seeking his face like it is my last. It has been the grace of the Lord that have kept me down through the years and for that i thank him.

God saved my family last night on the highway. We were coming from Georgia, and it had been raining all the way back, except for short periods when it stopped. I was driving then we stopped and got something to eat and switched seats. About five minutes afterward switching seats, a semi truck came back and splashed a tremondous amount of water under our truck-our truck started hydroplaning and spinning out of control!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My husband couldnt stop it, he was was turning the wheel, and we couldnt stop!!!!! He turned the wheel to the left(he said he remembered from his truck driving classes that if this happens you should steer the car away from the direction your car is trying to go-so he steered left, and we crashed into a guard rail, and STILL didnt stop!!!!!!! Finally the car stopped, and I couldnt stop saying thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!! My girls were screaming and hollering, BUT GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are alive today because of the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can remember one time picturing spiritually in my mind, myself standing on the shore, facing the vast ocean in front of me. The Lord was calling me to come out. There I stood on the shoreline with my luggage that I had been carrying around for years. One suitcase contained depression, pain, hurt, loss, loneliness. Another bag held lack of trust, defeat, and low self esteem. Another suitcase held sufferings, painful childhood memories, fear. Quite the load that I had been saving and carrying around for years. This was a turning point for me in my Christian walk. The Lord called me to come out. The Lord that day wasn't beside me saying, "Here let me carry this for you." He was calling me out to the deep to follow Him. For years I was following Him, but I was falling so far behind. My luggage was slowing me down. This was a season for me to let go. I knew I would sink, carrying all of this excess out into the water. That day years ago, I set it down on shore and with my hands now totally free, I picked up my cross and followed.


Mt16:25 goes on to say: For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. Set down the luggage.

Gal5:1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Whisper: Lord, could this also apply to excess luggage? YSIC Brown Eagle
