    Hi Brenda, you and I are both from large families. I am the 4th oldest of 13 children and I have 2 beautiful adult children. I gave my son to the Lord when he was 16 and sending me through all kind of changes. I prayed that if he allowed me to see him get grown, that if he took him then, I would not be angry only hurt. Long story short, he is now 36 and God is still keeping him. I can't begin to understand the loss of a child, but I do know that God is faithful and true.

    And if he allows you to go through, he is also right there where you can lean on him for comfort. There are crosses we all have to bear,but God will put no more on you than you can handle. Our trials are for 2 reasons, they will either bring us closer to God or we will walk away from him. Either way, were being sifted like wheat. Whatever he allows us to go through it is for us. We will understand it better by and by. I pray that you continue to press for the mark, even when it hurts.
