To grow in God’s grace and knowledge
spend time each day in His Word;
To think we can grasp it all on our own
without doubt can be totally absurd!

...We must have His words of wisdom
to daily mature in Him;
Each day will take us to a new level
and in that we can surely win!

To have His grace and knowledge
must be our greatest goal;
Walking out into the dark to reach
that precious one Lost soul.

We may be just a vessel
Made of simply clay;
But he can mold and shape us
in His own perfect way!

My Prayer today is simple
I choose to take up my sword !!
and I say one thing with all my heart

Lord:
When I am hungry, send me someone who needs food.
When I am thirsty, send me someone who needs a drink.
When I am cold, send me someone to be warmed.
When I am distressed, send me someone to console.
When my cross is becoming heavy, send me some with whom to share His cross.
When I am poor, lead me to someone in need.
When I have no time left, send me someone whom I might help for a few moments.
When I am humiliated, help me to find someone to praise.
When I am discouraged, send me someone to encourage.
When I need to be understood by others, send me someone who needs my understanding.
When I need to be cared for, send me someone to care for.
When I only think of myself, attract my attention to someone else.

“Your words, Lord, are Spirit and life” (Ps 19).

He gives wisdom to the simple and enlightens the eyes. For God is our rock and redeemer. Amen!

Hugs From Heaven

When you feel a gentle breeze
Caress you when you sigh
It’s a hug sent from Heaven
From a loved one way up high.

If a soft and tender raindrop
Lands upon your nose
They’ve added a small kiss
As fragile as a rose.

If a song you hear fills you
With a feeling of sweet love
It’s a hug sent from Heaven
From someone special up above.

If you awaken in the morning
To a bluebird’s chirping song
It’s music sent from Heaven
To cheer you all day long.

If tiny little snowflakes
Land upon your face
It’s a hug sent from Heaven
Trimmed with Angel lace.

So keep the joy in your heart
If you’re lonely my dear friend
Hugs that are sent from Heaven
A broken heart will mend.

The earth is too small
To be food, for my soul.
Without you Lord,
My soul will hunger
And thirst for more,
Yet never be satisfied.
Lord fill me with
Your bread, your wine,
Transformed by your holy priest
Into Sacred , Holy sustenance.

This sacrament,
Your body and blood,
Will fulfill the longing
Of my soul.
And all Souls,
That come to you.
Have Mercy on Us,
And on the Whole World.

Why should we pray for others?

1. They need our prayer.

2. We need the exercise of praying for others.

3. God needs this intercessory prayer for its influence on His creatures.

4. Prayer for each other draws us into a deeper consideration of each other’s wants.

5. Prayer for others draws us into sympathy with God’s love.

To pray for others, and to be heard and answered of God in our prayer, serves greatly to increase our love to God in the form of affection, and our love to man in the form of benevolence. No one ever prayed for another, with real prayer, without feeling an increase of love towards that person, no matter whether it be for a stranger or an acquaintance.

So if a community or a church pray for some individual, the more they pray, the better they will love. Prayer creates a bond of union between our souls and the souls of those whom we love. Let one pray for others till he prevails; it results in a wonderful sympathy, like that between parent and child.

Heavenly Father above, Creator of love
Holy and Sacred is Your name
Your Kingdom come, Your Will be done
