Dear Heavenly Father,

Please help us to listen well.

Teach us the importance of laying down our pride, so that we might communicate well.

Remind us to listen far more than we speak. And to not only listen, but seek to understand each other more than we do.

Help us to choose our words well so that we might encourage each other as we’re growing together in grace.

Thank You for listening to us in the amazing way that You do. And, thank You for hearing our words time and again.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for each and every blessing that You have bestowed upon us.

May we never cease to thank You for Your gifts, or fail to see the beauty of Your grace.

Train us to be wise and generous stewards equipped with wisdom and self-control to manage our finances well. Help us to spend wisely, and teach us the importance of investing in our future.

May we learn to be just as content and thankful when finances are tight, as we are when we have plenty.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We pray that You would give us strength in the midst of trials.

Remind us to rejoice on the darkest of days knowing that the trying of our faith builds patience.

Teach us to lean on You and to put our trust in You at all times. For You have never failed us in the past and will never fail us in the future.

May we give thanks through every trial we have and in every situation we face, knowing that all things work out together for good to them who are in Christ Jesus.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
