In Ephesians 4:29 we’re told to edify each other. We’re instructed not to let corrupt communication come out of our mouths, but to use our voices to minister grace.
And so we ask that You teach us to edify, Lord. Help us to build each other up, to strengthen each other with our words, and to spur each other on to good works.
Forgive us for the times we’ve used our words as weapons. Forgive us for tearing each other down when we could have been building each other up. Give us the strength and wisdom to minister grace
