James 5:7-8: See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.
The farmer gives reverence to God, because he puts his trust, faith, and the crops in His hands. Sometimes in life we let our circumstances control our thoughts and actions, but the Savior of our souls should rule in our hearts and minds, so that we trust in His Divine control.
