Can't always trust Feelings and Emotions

Why not? Because demons can manipulate them. This is why we are to be led by the Spirit.

Today's youth wear wristbands Y.O.L.O that stands for you only live once. This is an encouragement to get all you can, as much as you can because you live for today. We as 

believers know that we are living to live again. The world's reliance on material things is a lie. It makes the youth move in the wrong directions of life. We must keep the basics truths in place.

     1 Thessalonians 5:23- we are body, soul and spirit beings.

     2 Corinthians 5:16- when we accept Christ we desire to have HIS mind and a new spirit.

Keep in mind we do not get new memories or emotions, so the devil can play back past doubts and failures in your life to use them to his advantage. What many fail to realize old things are passed away. All things have become new. We must concentrate on our Newness. God has wiped the slate clean. Now you are candidates for healing, deliverance and sanctification.

We need constant reminders to keep us away from the torment the devil tries to play in our minds about past. One way to keep focused is to remind yourself of who you are in Christ. You are part of the Body. You belong to God.

      Revelations 12- states that we have weapons, we overcome by the Blood of the Lamb, and the word of our Testimonies, and that we love our lives not unto death. The devil can't get what is covered under the blood -so he tries to nullify or kill our testimony. Remember he plots to kill, steal, and destroy. He tries to worry your mind with negatives. This is the opposite of how God relates to us. The Holy Spirit writes thoughts of good on our hearts with love and compassion. The Holy Spirit places desires there that line up with God's plan for our lives and produces Fruit of the Spirit.

     Romans 12:2 tells us to be transformed by the renewing of your mind, to prove the acceptable will of God. Center your thoughts on truth.

    2Corinthians 10:5 our thoughts need to be taken captive (obedient to God). Declare who you are as a child of God redeemed by the blood.

    Phillippians 4:8 Meditate on good things, those that are honorable, pure, true, right, of good report, etc. Reject every lie from the devil to make you feel unworthy. You show who is in control and who you belong too. This is our right and priviledge as sons and daughters of the KING.

    Be bold and declare your worth. Break demonic assignments. Pray for strengthened discernment in the Body of Christ.
