DOING IT BY THE BOOK

You can’t dabble in the Word and expect to get results. You can’t just “try it out” for a while to see if the Word works. Effective faith demands a lifestyle in which you abandon yourself to the Bible. It’s an all-out commitment to live by the Word, to think by the Word, and to talk by the Word.

You see this type of resolve in the most successful people in the Bible.

Be it according to thy word. (Exodus 8:10)
Israel did according to the word. (Exodus 12:35)
The children of Levi did according to the world. (Exodus 32:28)
According to the word of the Lord they gave him the city (Joshua19:50)
Taking heed therefore to the word of the Lord (Psalm 119:9)
Be it unto me according to thy word. (Luke 1:38)
They hearkened therefore to the world of the Lord. (1 Kings 12:24)

Whatever you do, make sure you do it according to the Word. It’s your evidence to everything you need.
