My Testimony

The last several years has been a test of my faith.  I graduated in 2008 with
a Master's Degree in Nursing.  You think I would have been excited and
great opportunities awaited me.  However, I found myself in a state of
discouragement.  I felt undeserving of my achievement even though I
worked so hard for this academic accomplishment in my life.

I allowed someone else opinion of me be my reality.  So, I set myself up
for the devil to steal my joy and health.  I received a bad report from
my doctor.  For a few days, I wondered why me, Lord.  I had to seek God,
and believe in His word, and the promises He has for my life. 

The biggest test  came when I recently laid on the ultrasound exam table as
the technician surveyed my body for something that was no longer
there.  The person performing the test questioned me, the radiologist,
and viewed previous images of my body.  It was not there!  A part of me
wanted to say well did you look here or there....but another part of my
body realized that I must be still.  I was to be still, trust God, and
believe Him for my healing.

The technician's inability to find something in my body reminds me of the scene in the Bible. When Jesus
appeared before Mary and the others went to Jesus grave to verify if He
was still there.  They soon discovered that Jesus was no longer in
the grave. 

They had forgotten that He said he would arise and see them again.  Some thought someone had stolen their master's body. 
So, I too must believe in the promise's of God that whatever was in my
body was to gone because God has healed my body and it is no longer
there.

Praise God for healing my body!  I know He is not finish with me that is why I need to decrease so Jesus can increase more in my
life.  Never doubting His word, fearing anyone or anything ever again and allowing
someone else opinion of me become my reality because the Holy Spirit lives in me.
