While living in Alaska, in late summer, the salmon spawning season would begin. Wisdom shared from God, using natures display of pressing on.
Loss, loneliness, pain, lost truth, helpless: todays path is not an easy road to continue traveling. There are so many roadblocks of division. Change gains confusion in direction. Is quitting an option?
It was amazing watching the salmon finishing their race, as they headed towards the spawning pool where their life had once begun. An inner instinct drove them to return home no matter their distance of the vast sea they were leaving behind. It was hard for me at times to watch. As they were returning upstream, many were battered and some bleeding as they continued pressing on to reach their goal. Many were swimming very slow, some were even dying during their journey home in silence. They were so committed, no matter what their circumstance, no matter what the cost. Once their final goal of laying eggs was met, all would die.
