"OUR" Father, Dad told me way back in the seventies that "OUR" Country was due for an economic "adjustment." I did not think about that in the eighties when we were so busy making a living that we didn't even take notice. I took Dad's expertise and experience of depression years business credit reporter. He could see what was happening to us from a business standpoint. I wonder what he would think of today's events? "What in the world is going on?" Who is in charge of this chaos? What can really cause change? Has Wall Street Bankers become "OUR" enemies? Is "OUR" representative in Washington paying attention to understand "OUR" woes? We sense that the Lord knows we've tried everything else to escape these difficult times, but in a desperate cry beyond "OUR" self, trying to cope with this evil enemy that has wormed his way into governing over us. "Damn those people" we plea with the Psalmist of "OUR" worst feeling of helplessness. Before You we stand stripped bare and naked before You with unsuppressed rage in what they do to us and "OUR" Children in the name of Government. We can't tolerate what You may be able to to see beyond their faults, but "It is up to You to Damn these people - only You are a just judge." May we "BE" able to see as You do looking down on us in this time of space to see "OUR" future has already been complete, laugh at "OUR" anxiety now. We pray for "Your Kingdom Come", "Your will done in earth like it is in Heaven", "Give us this day "OUR" daily bread from Heaven" to feed "OUR" hungry anxious souls. A Word from You would certainly help now: "BE" Anxious for nothing but in everything give thanks, for this is You will for us and to let "OUR" requests "BE" known to You."" We admit "OUR" anger and frustration in what is happening to us. "OUR" sin of despair and not trusting You for the outcome, we have taken matters in "OUR" own hands. We owe You and each other better than that. You gave Your life for us, how can we do less? Lead us to see beyond "OUR" fault and see "OUR" real need. Deliver us from the evil one we pray. AMEN! Without You we don't have a prayer!
