PROSPERITY PREACHING HOW HAS IT HELPED?

For decades now the church got the preaching of properity and it caught fire every where, both in America, and Africa. By phisycal observation it changed the story of the church and increased the numerical strenght and also the financial strenght of the church.It made more people come to answer the call as pastors even when they are nt called by God. But spirirtually speaking how has it helped us? I only see the result in the spiritual as disadvantageous to the church spiritually. In John 5 Jesus healed a 38 year old sick man at the pool of bethestha, but he did nt use it as advertisement. In the same John 6 He fed 5000 men excluding women and children with 5 loaves and 2 fishes. still he was still in the local place. They went and announced that they will make him king the bible said he ran away. They hired boats and baskets and followed him to Capernaum, in thier thousands and multitudes.They found him in John 6v24 and in verse 25 Jesus saw them and say to them that he knows that they did not come for the real bread but thet want that one that their fathers eat and were dead in the wilderness. When he finally told them the type of bread they should eat, they all left in anger, and that gave Jesus oppurtunity to concetrate the people that came for the real bread. But the church today is so confused and distracted by the crowd that came for the bread of prosperity that you hardly deferentiate between the club houses and the churches, you cannot ee a Peter that can say to the lame man rise up and walk. Because the church is mixed up with the two categories of bread eaters. In these condition more are dying and are going to hell while we are being confused by the number of the ones in the church. Churc let us arise and recognise those that came to eat bread and those that came to do other things. Many of such houses called churches today have been sold and some are even in courts for accusations ranging from sexual sins and mismanagement of funds and so on. Ananais only lied in the church in Acts 5 and he fell and died and the bible said and many people could not join the church because of fear, but they still have regards for that church, may God bring back that fear to his church!
