Heb3:14 We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first.
During recess we used to play Red Rover. You would form two teams. One side would call out: Red Rover, Red Rover, send: then they would shout out a name of a player on the other side: right over. This side would then lock hands/forearms and the person called, would have to run and try to break through the chain. If they didn't break through, they stayed there. But if they did break through, they got to choose a person to take back over with them to their team.
The chain had areas of strength and areas of weakness. You quickly figured out where those areas were. As the runner, you stayed away from the stronger links and went for the weaker ones. The ones you knew would let go.
Christians and our Church today are under attack. Mt24 Jn10:10 1Pet5:8 We, as the body of Christ, need to lock arms with each other. The stronger links need to stand beside those afraid, so that their is no weakness in the chain/the body of Christ. Ecc4:12 Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. Psm82:3,4 Acts20:35 1Cor12:26 1Th5:14 Pr31:8
Remaining locked on and committed, one day when a Goliath from the other side approaches, we will be prepared. 1Sam17 Whisper: The key to winning: make sure God is your team captain. Col1:17 YSIC Brown Eagle
