Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer
True Praise is not according to the traditions of the music and songs of hymns that are
practiced in most church services. True Praise is by the spirit. When the spirit is joined
to the knowledge of Christ. The grounds God sets for true praise is in spirit and in truth.
The spirit enters in and bears witness to God. It is an experience of humbling yourself
and centering your attention upon the Lord with heart-felt expressions of love.
The problem that some christians face is falling victime to "faith exploitation" on the
emotional level that allows "imagination" to express itself. Honestly speaking, everyone
has their way of expressing him or herself and humbling through a standard that is
uniquely theirs. We have no yardstick or classification to put thisin. What may be simple
service to one, can be regarded by another as their true form of worshipping God. Since
people are so different then, we can not lump all praise in one basket and say this is
the formula. Depending on your personal relationship with God and your experiences,
what is true for you is uniquely yours. Only God knows the worth.Christians who have
the proper foundation of truth and sincerity in their hearts know what "true praise" is,
and can praise God throughout the day if wanted in the service of prayers, scripture reading and praise, singing in tongues, speaking in tongues and prophecies, in certain
instances that reflet Christ. This is their priesthood. We can not let "emotional
excitement" replace faith. In other words, be real. Music, dance, song are forms of worship, but are not all the forms of praise and worship.
God's wants, the fruits from your lips as a testament to the love that is shared between
both partners (God and servant). Usher in the presence of the Lord through a variety of
praise and worship. Don't limit the expressions of true praise. Nuture your fruit daily
in your way of faithfulness. Continually drink of the well of the spirit. We serve God
through the tools of the covenant that He has with us. True praise can only be learned
through obedience and true faith. Passion for God is the key.
