"Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow; it empties today of its strength." Corrie Ten Boom Mt6:34
Php4:6,7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. 1Th:5:16,17
Rough roads these days one travels. Job loss, less money, illness, lack of trust, ones child on a wrong path, questions of future...the road continues on for miles.
Turn your worries into prayer. Are you starting to worry about your job, PRAY. Worried about a parent who is ill, PRAY. Worry holds no answers, but God does: PRAY.
"The peace of God will guard our hearts and minds." Our hearts are the center of conflicts.
WHISPER: Ones heart is where our feelings (worry, fear) and desires (health, new job), clash. Worried (feeling) about finding that job (desire),
REPLACE the feelings with Gods peace. Float and rest in Gods peace; don't wear out or drown in worry. The answer may be yes or may be no to your prayer. But, no matter what, walk away knowing you have the peace of God. The peace of God, that is what keeps us. The peace of God is what will help us get through. Leave it in Gods hands. Jerm29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, "declares the Lord," plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
