HERE YOU ARE

HERE YOU ARE once more Lord; words pouring into my soul.
When you bless me this way, there is joy and tranquility untold.
As the words come to the fore, I blissfully take delivery of them.
May they touch the listener; as I touched your garment’s hem.

HERE YOU ARE once more, my Lord; you minister to my soul.
Your utterance constantly revives me; your holy truths I behold.
The stream of words is warm and comforting; soaked in true love.
You prearranged each expression that I might send praise above.

HERE YOU ARE once more, Father; you trust in my trivial worth.
You have shadowed me, beloved Father, since my first day on earth.
I love you dear Jesus; you’re my own personal sheltered mountain.
I haven’t been quite the same, since bathing in your sacred fountain.

HERE YOU ARE once more Lord; spill out the words and I’ll write.
I’ll guide your lost sheep; from the shadows to your gleaming light.
Draw near unto me Lord; no matter what mind frame I might be in.
I’ll willingly share my personal testimony as it flows from this pen.
