Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer
1 John 2:16-17
1 John 2:16-17 (KJV)
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
So we see that it’s not worth it to pursue a lifestyle like the rich and famous. It’s fleeting, and will disappear before our eyes. Not that it’s necessarily a bad thing to have riches, but without Christ in our lives, it means nothing.
