Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer
1 Peter 1:3-4
1 Peter 1:3-4: Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade-kept in heaven for you.
God has adopted us into His family, which makes Jesus our spiritual “big brother.” God has given us a new lease on life by offering us hope for a better tomorrow through the gift of eternal life that can only be found in our Lord. When our family leaves an inheritance behind, it is temporal, but the wealth that is stored up for us in heaven is for all eternity. These riches are more valuable than money, silver or gold. It is the opportunity to be in the presence of God forever!
