Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer
Deuteronomy 5:21 (KJV)
Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbour’s wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbour’s house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any thing that is thy neighbour’s.
The world has a “keeping up with the Jones’” attitude. If your neighbor had a mansion, we break our bank accounts and go in debt to get a similar house, instead of rejoicing with them that God would give them favor. We’re not satisfied with what God gives us; we always want more or better than everyone else does. We even go as far as to check out each other’s spouses or significant others, not thanking God for our mates. The root of all this is jealousy and ungratefulness. We must count our blessings and give glory to God.
