Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer
James 2:15-16
James 2:15-16 (KJV)
If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, and one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
God calls us to minister to those in need. If we can assist someone in some way and don’t do it, He will hold us accountable. It makes no sense to tell someone that we’ll pray for their situation if the Lord has provided us with the means to help, even in the smallest way. We must put our pride and judgment aside and display the Great Commission on a daily basis.
