Proverbs 19:17 (KJV)
He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.
When we walk down the street, and see all the homeless people, how often do we put our nose up in the air and pretend that we don’t see them? It doesn’t matter how they got into their situation, but God will hold us accountable if we know that we can help in some small way, and choose not to. Instead, why not make sure you put that spare change from your wallet into your pocket and give it away to someone less fortunate than you with a smile? You would be surprised at how much of a blessing you’ll be to them.
