Psalms 37:16 (NIV)
Better the little that the righteous have than the wealth of many wicked.
There are some folks who say that money changes an individual. While that may be true, it depends on the person. People can keep it quiet that they have untold riches, and use it for good, while there are others that flaunt their money, and use it to harm others. Our prayer should be for the Lord to give us our daily bread, and if He blesses us with more than that, then we should turn around and be a blessing to others, rather than plotting and scheming about what we can do with our money, that will only benefit us for the short term.
