Psalms 48:14 (NIV)

For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end.

Once you have developed a personal relationship with the Lord, you are convinced that He is the God of the universe, no questions asked, and that He is the only one who was at the beginning of your life, even before your parents were brought into the plan, and He will be there at the end of our lives, to walk us across the street from life into eternity.
