Psalms 94:12-13

Psalms 94:12-13 (KJV)

Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law; That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.

The Lord loves us too much to let us go in the wrong direction. Like a father disciplines and corrects his child, God does the same thing. No correction feels good, but at the end of the day, we come back to Him with a grateful heart for His care and concern.
