Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer
Romans 12:11-12
Romans 12:11-12: Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
We should always be zealous for God, living our lives circumspectly before Him and all mankind, attesting to His greatness. Sometimes, with demonic attacks on every side, and circumstances weighing heavily upon us, we forget that the joy of the Lord is our strength. Unlike happiness, which the world tends to have only when all is well, we have a hope in the resurrected Christ, who lived, died, and rose again to set us free from the curse of death that our forefather Adam made for us. Although the enemy of our souls would like us to think that God doesn’t hear our prayers, that we won’t be delivered, God tells us in His Word to hold on, help is on the way, and to remain joyful, despite what the circumstances are.
