Acts 13:38 (NIV)

“Therefore, my brothers, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you.”

After Jesus ascended to Heaven, there were a group of people left behind in Jerusalem who heard about the events surrounding His death, burial and resurrection, but weren’t really sure if all of it could be true.  The disciples, specifically Peter, preached to thousands of people, after they received the Holy Spirit that they too could be forgiven of their sins, if they would only look to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.  What was proclaimed over 2,000 years ago is still true today.  Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father, in eager anticipation of those who want an intimate and personal relationship with Him, so that they will be forgiven of their sins, and have a place before His throne.
