Colossians 3:9-10

Colossians 3:9-10 (KJV)

Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

There are times when we put on a false front, to make ourselves look better than we really do. We aren’t content with who God has made us into, so we feel the need to embellish. However, that would be shades of the old man, trying to rear its ugly head. We must be truthful in all our dealings.
