Deuteronomy 12:28: Be careful to obey all these regulations I am giving you, so that it may always go well with you…because you will be doing what is good and right in the eyes of the Lord your God.
When we made up our minds to follow Jesus, it was not an easy decision. There were probably many things that we didn’t want to let go of in the world. However, once we let go and let God into our lives, He gave us specific instructions in His Word on how to live our lives. It may not fit with society’s standards, or even our own sinful nature, but we would be living out the will of God in our lives and have peace, no matter what the circumstances are.
