Isaiah 9:6

Isaiah 9:6: For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Jesus Christ was born in a manger to a set of poor parents in Bethlehem over 2,000 years ago. Our Lord could not have been born at a better time in history. The world, especially in Israel in those days, was in a depressed state. Jesus fulfilled Bible prophecy written thousands of years before He was born. He had a destiny to walk into, and as much as He was praised, the same people who later in His ministry would say, “Hosanna cursed him! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord” one day, and “Crucify Him!” another day. Jesus Christ was, and is, our last and best hope for peace. We can only achieve that peace by accepting Him into our lives as our personal Savior.
