Job 35:2 (NIV)
“Do you think this is just? You say, ‘I will be cleared by God.’”
This is the go along to get along mentality. We think that we can hang with our crew and get over with doing whatever, knowing in our heart of hearts that it’s wrong. But, we justify it by saying that God loves us, and He understands. So many people think that in the end, when we stand before the judgment seat of Christ, that we can explain away what we’ve done wrong while in the body by that train of thought. Wouldn’t it be better to fall on our knees, and repent of our wrongdoing, so that we don’t have to give the enemy ammunition to hang over our heads?
