Joshua 1:9: Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
God has given us many instructions in His Word regarding our trials that we face in this life. He tells us to gird up our loins, stare adversity in the face, be strong and of good courage. We are not talking about physical strength or anything of our own might. We must realize that we are nothing without God, and we could not do anything without His hands on our lives. Therefore, we can depend on His strength and courage, for He is always with us. We serve a mighty God!
