Matthew 1:21 (KJV)

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Our Lord is so powerful that He took upon the sins of the world onto Himself, to redeem us after Adam and Eve blew it in the Garden of Eden. He loved us so much that He freely gave up His life for us. Now, we in turn must do the same.
