Matthew 5:11-12

Matthew 5:11-12 (KJV)

Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.  Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

It appears that the whole world is against Christians.  In foreign countries, they are killed for owning a Bible, and naming the name of Christ.  Here in the United States, they have taken prayer out of schools, they have separation of church and state, and they would like to take Christian broadcasting off of the airwaves and networks, and are trying to remove “One Nation Under God” from the Pledge of Allegiance.  What’s next?  Taking “In God We Trust” off of the American dollar?  Take heart, because God will bless us for holding on to what we have, regardless of what man says.  We can look forward to the fact that every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord.
