Philippians 4:6-7

Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV)

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your heart and minds through Christ Jesus.

There is a lot going on in our present world.  We are at war, and we are concerned about our troops in the United States.  My brother in law was a chaplain, and after 20 years of service in the Marines and 7 in the Army Reserves, he served a tour of duty in Iraq for 18 months.  You might ask how my family didn’t come apart at the seams with worry.  How did my sister cope with all the alarming reports?  She lives this Scripture, and walks in it everyday.  Our God is an awesome God.  He did, and will continue to protect my brother in law and God gave his family the peace that passes all understanding.
