Kigen's Medical Mercy Mission

This little boy has been in hospital in Eldoret for the past two months. I've been sponsoring the support of him and his brother and mother for this time and trying to get medical help for them. Please pray as their father is very angry that the missionaries have taken the children away. The little brother has done well and is doing much better than he was when admitted to hospital but we were recently informed that the boys have a genetic condition and the hospital can do no more for them.(You can see photos of the boy without bandages and why we took him to hospital in the first place. You will also see photos of his mom who needs prayer due to her husband's accusations against her that she is cursed. These people are not saved and we are demonstrating the love of God to them.

My friend is trying to take them home now.

Please pray all will go well, financially, physically and spiritually with the return of this family home.  Please pray that this little boy will also get healing through God's grace and for my friend and the pastor who will deliver these two boys and the mother back to their home.  Pray also for salvation for this family and especially for the husband who is violent and mean.

I am travelling to Kenya on Friday and would ask for your prayers for my travel  mercies and prayers for my health and for my mother's health. My mother will not be travelling with me but her health is always fragile. God bless you for your prayers.

UPDATE: Praise God! After waiting more than 2 months this little boy will undergo surgery today, Tuesday \May 31, 2011.  Please pray that all would go well with the surgery which will be for the purpose of opening his eyes so he can see. My friends had gone twice to the hospital to remove the boy and take him home but the doctors would not permit. I believe these attempts to take the boy home have motivated the doctors into action. Now am believing this boy will live to see and his sight will be a testimony to his father and family. I just learned that there is one more boy (older one) in the family who is like this. The third one (youngest) is now better and he did not require surgery.
