Hey all..around the world.

Mike is the husband of a friend and member of our Journey groups
they live in North Carolina...and what started as a sore on his foot
has turned into this...the worst nightmare of diabetes...
please send prayer and healing energies zen..keep it flowing for continuos healing
if anyone would like to send Mike a card...let me know and I will send you the address.
he is in a nursing center far from their home and Carol can't get to him often...$$$
soo please keep them both in prayer...until he is healed and with his new leg...and beyond

here is her note to me this morning.

An update on Mike......he has been working so hard in physical therapy to be able to get his new leg..
Mike's surgeon had to re-open the incision in his leg because he had developed blood clots under the incision. This has set Mike back at least a month in getting his new leg. IF his leg heals like it's supposed to! There's a chance that it won't heal and they will have to take more of his leg off. If they have to do that, Mike won't be getting a new leg. He's got just enough leg left below his knee to get a prosthesis. Mike is so upset! He said yesterday that he really needed a hug from me and I can't go see him until the 21st....payday! And I don't know what to do!
