Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer
Deuteronomy 28:12 (KJV)
The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.
Are you the type of person that only enjoys the sun? In the natural, people are much happier when they see it, even in the dead of winter. In the spiritual, rain is a sign of the blessings of God. Rodney Posey wrote the words of this song:
Crisis in my life had to turn to the One who suffered, bled and died;
Strayed a little bit like Paul, so Jesus let me know He was my all and all;
He showed me sadness, and then He introduced me to gladness;
He showed me sorrow, and then He let me know He was my hope for tomorrow;
He let me fall, so that I would know He was my all and all;
Then He gave me a song in the midst of the storm;
Let it rain, let it rain;
If I didn’t have any rain, then I would never grow;
And He gave me a song in the midst of the storm.
Without the storms of life, we would find excuses not to call on Jesus. We have to learn how to praise God in every season of our lives, and with all types of weather.
