Job 12:12-13
Job 12:12-13 (KJV)
With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding. With him is wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding.
If we are blessed to live a long life, along this journey we hope to gain wisdom and understanding. In order to gain these things, we only need to read the instructions in the Word of God. He promises us length of days if we honor our parents, and we may even survive beyond the three score and ten, or seventy years. If we sit down long enough to listen to our parents and grandparents experiences, we may be able to gain a clue into how not to walk in the same mistakes that they made. Then, we can pray for our children as we pass on the knowledge and wisdom to them.
