Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer
John 14:16-17
John 14:16-17 (NIV)
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever – the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.
When Jesus ascended into Heaven, He didn’t leave us alone. He left the Holy Spirit to guide us. The Holy Spirit is a counselor, a comforter, and most importantly, a compass to direct us to the truth. In this day and time, it’s apparent that the world isn’t interested in the truth of the Gospel, because they have no problem calling wrong right. However, we must stand up for Jesus at all costs, because we know the truth, and the truth will set us free.
