Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer
Luke 6:37: Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
When a mishap occurs within someone’s life, we have a tendency to make comments about what we think should happen to them. If given the opportunity, we would like to be judge, jury and executioner in a lot of situations. However, God admonishes us to be silent, because all have sinned and fallen short of His glory. We can’t be so quick to point out someone else’s shortcomings without looking at our own. We must treat people the way that we want to be treated, even if it isn’t reciprocated. Instead of talking about our enemies and wishing the worst for them, we must pray for them, forgive them of any wrongdoing towards us, and be kind. If we do this, then the judgment of God will not fall down on us, and we will be blessed.
