Psalms 119:6 (NIV)
Then I will not be put to shame when I consider all your commands.
It’s interesting how the enemy likes to walk us down memory lane, and remind us about our past, and press play on every shameful thing that we’ve done, that we wouldn’t want anyone to know. It’s even more interesting when we gain the courage to share our stories with people that we love, and then it is thrown back in our faces, or broadcast on the spiritual 11:00 news, and we’re put on full blast for all to see. We can walk around with our heads down, sad and dejected, and allow Satan to laugh at us and win, or we can rebuke him, and believe what God says about us. You know, all the stuff He says about us being forgiven, redeemed, and loved.
